As you can see in this video; It is the viewpoint our eyes, heart and mind that depict our mood in any situation.
I want you to ask yourself first and foremost what you see and feel when confronted with drama or negativity.
Is it your judgemental side creeping out?
Is it just how you were raised to think?
Is it just the easier path than to think outside the box a little bit and just see more than what logic tells us?
THOUGHTS? (Post in comments section)
“People are not disturbed by things, but by the views they take of them.” – Epictetus
How do you prevent yourself from seeing the wrong point of view?
What exactly is the wrong point of view? Would you even kmow it if you saw it?
We will get right down to it in the next post.
Your weekend was fantastic! Correct? Well despite what it was let us stay in our happy bubbles for a moment and take a dig into the unknown of getting out of our own negativity whirl wind!

Imagine that! Those of us who are more creative can often be arrogant, dishonest and disorganized!
Guess what?! That's OKAY! There is a lot to be said about the kind of organization of the thoughts and actions of creative people!
Such as: They seem to know there way around all of their own rapid thoughts and how to apply them. How DARE someone else try to make them streamlined?
That is what we are getting into this week! How to fine tune some of what we think is beneficial and what is not. We each need to find our own ways to handle our emotions as they relate to our thoughts and dealing with others. We will get started soon!
This week we took a dive into "How We Respond" internally as well as externally to outside influence. (Or stimuli of opinion.)
As explained in the beginning of the week we are focusing on response to outside stimuli.
This week we are talking about how our initial responses to other's opinions occur.
Being a very independent person from a very young age I am the first to admit that I have struggled with the defense as emotional response more often than not.
Its never productive and often viewed as quite counter productive. Take a look at the 2 part conflict response below!
You gotta train your mind to be stronger than your emotions or you will LOSE EVERYTIME!
Back to the question I asked yesterday...
Are we ready for some REAL ISTLK?
One question to start your day;

Hope everyone had an excellent weekend!
Posts will now continue to post on this main blog here at istlk.weebly.com as well as the facebook page!
If you havent read the posts from the last two weeks I urge you to catch up to better follow along.
Heres some homework before we move forward.
Review exiles, managers and firefighters.
Review self talk and shame discussions.
This week we will focus in self talk response to outside stimulus.

*What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you're mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to experience.
